In celebration of National Wing Day we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to get our fill of one of our favorite foods.
This was another fun Sunday, full of love, fun and sun! Summer is in full swing, the pool is finally warm and we have a new member of our family.
This morning we decided to go to on a Sunday adventure. We have been in the middle of a heat wave that has made it miserable to do much of anything outdoors, so we left early in order to beat the heat.
Our area has traditionally been hit hard economically. Recently, GM closed its plant in Lordstown, OH which cost thousands of people their livelihood. Falcon Transport, a major trucking company, closed shortly after GM. These and other closures have changed the lives of our neighbors and friends.
Can you believe there are only seven more Sundays without football? The off season always flies by, but this year time has seemed to pass by even faster.
Is there anything that brings you back to being a young child faster than hearing an ice cream truck? As soon as we hear the music, we want to bolt out the front door before the truck drives past our house.
We are watching the MLB All Star Game tonight, and, as usually happens while we are watching television or listening to a show on the radio, it started a discussion. We (Don) wonder which All Star Game people prefer to watch. We (Sal) wonder, are there other All Star Games other than Major League Baseball?
July 4th is a day of reflection, thankfulness, family and friends. Parades, picnics and fireworks are on many American’s agendas. We started our day at a parade in Canfield, OH. The town square was festively decorated and a large crowd turned out to watch. We met our daughter Ashley, her husband Bobby and baby girl …
