We are four weeks into the NFL season, knee deep in pumpkin flavored everything, and closing in on our trip to The Field of Dreams.
Don is in eleven leagues this year – the most he has ever been in.
He has been in his Hometown Trophy League for 20+ years. This league started in the mid-80’s and still has a couple of the originals playing. It is the biggest league with 16 teams. This year, for the first time ever, Don had the 16th pick. Also for the first time ever, he started with four straight losses.
He is in three big FFPC leagues and four small ones. In the big money leagues, two of his teams have a 3-1 record, one is 1-3. We are counting on a nice win to cover our trip to Vegas next year!
Don won an entry into the Warrior Bowl through the King of Consistency, Bob Lung. He is 2-2 so far. He has had the highest point total two of the four weeks. One week he had the lowest point total.
The Draft Night Out League, from Bob Lung’s Fantasy Football Expo, has 72 teams participating. Don is in a 12- team division. He has a 3-1 record and is ranked 12 in the 72 teams.
Don, Nathan and I are in the SmackDown Sports Legends League. This is Nathan’s first year to play Fantasy Football and he is 4-0. Don has a record of 3-1 and I stand at 1-3.
This is my first year in over 15 years to not participate in a Survivor Pool. Don is in two pools, a single and a double eliminator. He has a strategy this year, and mapped out his picks through Week 15. So far so good. The winning pot in the single eliminator is over 10k.
The Browns are off to a great start. They have only lost one game – to the Kansas City Chiefs. It is a fun year to be a Browns fan!
