We were invited to be in a charity league and had the option to both be in the same league or participate in different leagues. We chose to compete against each other in the same league, and the battle is on!
We have done leagues where we played together on the same team or competed in separate leagues in the same event, but this is the first time we will be competing against each other in the same league.
Troy Norris, who we met at Bob Lung’s Hall of Fame Fantasy Football Experience, put together an event to benefit charities. Each team can choose a charity that is close to their heart. We appreciate Troy including us in this event!
Our competitiveness is shining strong and bright. Don was able to choose to have the first pick in the draft and I chose the second pick. The fantasy football gods are making this interesting! I asked his opinion of who my first pick should be and Don politely said he is NOT giving me any advice, and I am completely on my own.
Great! That means when I beat him in the VERY FIRST game, I will have done it with my own skills (and all the advice that I read and listen to from the experts).
We play against each other Week One and Week Twelve. Those should be fun weeks in the Kurjan household! We are out for blood!
