Sportswise, 2020 has started out as a bust. We were lucky to have a Super Bowl; since then, everything is either on hold or canceled.
The 2020 NFL Draft was the first live sports event in several weeks, and it had the highest ratings of any other draft. The first night of the draft had 15.6 million viewers! That is almost the average for an NFL regular season game.
We looked forward to the Draft, and enjoyed the unique format that was made necessary by the Stay-At-Home orders. We loved seeing the players’ homes and families, as well as the coaches and general managers. Family pets were even included in some of the home draft rooms!
Next year’s NFL Draft will be held in Cleveland, and we cannot wait! We are excited to have the players, networks and fans coming to this huge event so close to home. Hopefully, we will meet up with folks we’ve met through Fantasy Football and make some new friends too.
And, because we are true Cleveland fans, we are always counting on “Next Year”.
