When the news broke Tuesday night that Odell Beckham Jr had been traded to the Browns, our phones started blowing up. Social media was insane. Browns fans set off fireworks and celebrated as if they had already won the Super Bowl. Some celebrations were even interrupted by the police being called.
John Dorsey, the Browns General Manager, said his goal is to wake the sleeping giant. Browns fans are onboard Mr. Dorsey! We have been waiting every year for next year. Next year. Next year. Next year is here, y’all!
At the beginning of February, Vegas had the odds of the Browns winning the Super Bowl being 40-1. Now the odds are 14-1, and only the Patriots and the Chiefs have better odds in the AFC. Really, with Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry, Nick Chubb, Damarious Randall and Kareem Hunt, the Browns will be unstoppable. This promises to be the best season Browns fans have ever seen, not to mention the fun we will have leading up to the first kickoff.
Odell t-shirts and jerseys were available for sale the following day. We couldn’t wait to see what GV Art & Apparel, creators of Cleveland That I love, came up with, and we didn’t have to wait long! Their new OH-Dell shirt was available Wednesday and we would bet they are going to have a hard time keeping it in stock.
Twitter posts are on fire for Odell. We have had a blast reading and watching the creativity. It is Cleveland’s time to rock and the fans are not going to rest for a long time.
