Our new fantasy football experience this year is being in the same league and playing against each other. Troy Norris did a great job putting this all together, and we are thankful to have the chance to compete and to donate to our charity of choice, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. The families of children who are treated at St. Jude’s never have to pay a dime for their state of the art, life-saving medical care.
The draft for this league was especially exciting for us because Don had the first pick and I had the second. More than once, he said, “Man, I was gonna take that guy!” To me that is a huge compliment since he is the Most Passionate Fan of the Decade and I, well, I choose players based on cool names, favorite uniforms, and the advice I hear from experts like Bob Harris.
We finished the draft first thing this morning, so now it is a wait and see game. Don and I play each other Week One, so the wait won’t be too long!
