The Fantasy Football Expo in Canton, Ohio is our favorite event of the year. The Fantasy Football community is one of the nicest groups of folks we have ever encountered, and we love reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. We pick up right where we left off with people we know, and people we meet seem like longtime friends.
Bob Lung, The King of Consistency, and his wife, Pam, are stellar planners and hosts. With the support of family and friends they pull off the largest Fantasy Football event in the USA. The Expo is growing each year by leaps and bounds, and with Bob’s vision, expertise and drive, the potential is unlimited.
The Expo is a three day event kicking off with an outdoor party at Centennial Plaza on Friday night. Ohio weather is always iffy and August rainstorms are likely. Thunderstorms were in the forecast, but somehow the torrential downpour held off until the party was almost over. The Saturday night party at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium also dodged the storms leaving us wondering if Bob Lung has an inside connection with the weather gods.
The weekend flew by much faster than we would like. Some attendees have started stretching their Canton stay to five days by arriving on Thursday and leaving on Monday – not a bad idea at all! We’ve heard the karaoke is a fun time on Sunday evening, so next year we might have to stay a little longer too. No matter how long we are there, it will always be hard to say goodbye and wait an entire year to see everyone again.
We are always inspired by the talented writers and content creators at the Expo. The positive energy among this crowd is contagious and we feel lucky to be part of it. If Fantasy Football is your thing, we highly recommend attending the 2024 Fantasy Football Expo.
