It’s hard to believe Fantasy Football season is over in our household. Other than a couple FFPC playoff leagues, all of our fantasy leagues are finished.
We played against each other in the Smack Down Sports Legend League – a fun league that is a fundraiser for charities. Troy Norris does a great job as commissioner, and we appreciate him including us. Don had the best record in our division 12-2, but lost in the first round of the playoffs.
Don had the best record in his Hometown Trophy League but lost in the playoffs. No four-foot trophy in our house this year. Good luck to Dave, the commissioner, and George as they go head-to-head in the Super Bowl!
Don had three teams in the FFPC Football Guys Players Championship. He made the playoffs in two out of three leagues. He lost in the first round with one league, and the second round in the other.
This was Don’s first year to compete in The Warrior Bowl – a huge charity fantasy league with 480 teams. His record was 7-7. Missed the playoffs.
The Draft Night Out League from the Fantasy Football Expo weekend was a super fun experience for both of us. We made new friends and can’t wait for the 2022 event. Don went 10-4, won his division, went to the playoffs and won his league. He will receive a ring from Trophy Smack for winning his league. Can’t wait to see the ring!
One of our favorites, Mike Clay, predicted the Cleveland Browns would go to the Super Bowl this year. We thought they would too and even placed a small bet that they would win. We picked the wrong Ohio team, but we are really happy for the Bengals and hope they bring home the championship. It is exciting to have Ohio represented in Los Angeles.
It was one of the best fantasy seasons ever. The Fantasy Football community is a fantastic group of people that we are thankful to be a part of.
