Will the Cleveland Victory Fridges Open Tonight?

Bud Light has one of the best advertising campaigns ever going on right now. They have placed a dozen-plus locked refrigerators around the Cleveland area that will unlock automatically when the Browns finally win a game.

Each refrigerator holds approximately 200 Bud Lights, and will unlock via smart technology. Lucky – and happy – Browns fans will be treated to a free beer immediately following a win. While many fans were satisfied with the Week One tie against the Steelers, Budweiser was not. According to the company, it has to be a win, not a tie.

Tonight’s game should be an exciting, close game. The Browns are favored by three points, and it is the first time Vegas has favored them since 2015. The Jets Quarterback, Sam Darnold, was passed up in the draft by the Browns, so he will have something to prove. Isaiah Crowell will also be playing a revenge game against the Browns since they let him walk in free agency after four years of playing for the team.

In our opinion, this isn’t a must-win game, but if the Browns lose tonight, they will have to rethink their head coach and Quarterback positions.  We like Hue Jackson.  A lot.  We want to see him turn this team around. However, he has gone 1-32-1 with this team, and it is time for huge improvement.

Browns sideline reporter, Nathan Zegura, originally on Sirius XM Fantasy Radio and known as the Fantasy Consultant, has been suspended for eight games for yelling at an NFL official. Zegura verbalized his disagreement with an official during the Saints game, and the NFL called foul. We met Zegura at a Browns game and chatted with him for awhile about Fantasy Football. We feel the eight game suspension is particularly harsh, when Zegura could have simply been reprimanded.

Fans and experts alike believe that the Cleveland Browns should be 2-0 right now.  They will possibly be unstoppable once they get all their kinks ironed out. The excitement in the air makes us think tonight is the night it will all turn around.
